Students learning about the Mara Ecosystem

Learning more about the Mara Ecosystem!

The only way we can truely foster in children, a deeper connection with nature, is through active engagement in locally relevant learning. And our Education for Conservation program is doing just that!

Our newly formed Mazingira Club at Kishermoruak Primary School kicked off their very first session last week. They learnt about the very ecosystem they are a vital part of – the Mara Ecosystem. It’s the home of the Great Migration, Loita Migration and is world famous for its biodiversity values and Maasai culture. We love how engaged these students are in wanting to know more about the environment they are charged to protect.
