Supporting the community that supports conservation. The school uniforms are being sewn at the local community uniform shop. We can’t wait to give these out to the 25 students we are helping get back to class on 20 January.
We are so grateful to our new friends at Big Life Foundation and Chester Zoo. They have just shared with us their environmental education curriculum specifically developed for kids in Maasai Kenya, for roll-out at our Maarifa-supported schools. This means that we are delivering consistent and meaningful education for conservation learning for even more children …
This is just so exciting… the 25 children who will be starting back at Illoirero Primary School, thanks to your support, were fitted for their uniforms on the weekend. Each child will get a full school uniform and new pair of shoes, as well as a solar light to assist with their studies.
